This advanced course focuses on the exploration and experimentation of narrative (storytelling) photography to inform and persuade using digital and analog techniques. We work with film and digital cameras exploring current commercial styles of photography and the old ways of creating images. We mix, match and mess with traditional understandings of photography. And, we practice learning-by-doing where exploration not perfection is the goal. Prerequisites: COMM 1535 OR ART 2060.
