An introduction to the principles, technology, and elements of Earth?s weather and climate. This course emphasizes atmospheric patterns and processes, how the key elements (e.g., temperature, air pressure, winds, and moisture) work together to form weather systems, and how humans are impacted by weather disasters. A minimum grade of "C" (2.0 or above) must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Geosciences major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other course.
